Celebrities are never a bunch for shying away from bold fashion statements, so it is no surprise that many of them have ditched the traditional stark white princess dress for a more colourful option. From lemon yellow to shades of black, colour is by far the best way to stand out.

The Big Bang Theory’s leading lady wore an unforgettable custom Vera Wang pink gown to marry Ryan Sweeting at their New Year’s Eve wedding. The dress, much like the marriage, didn’t last long as she swapped into a shorter red dress to dance the night away at her reception.

For her Memorial Day weekend wedding, The Newsroom star opted for a retro look with a short sleeve bright yellow vintage dress. She paired this period look with a bold red lip and tight curls and looked as happy as a sunflower on her big day.
