Dominik and Talia: A Personal Touch
A chance meeting at a mutual friend’s birthday party led to a life-long commitment for Talia and Dominik. Originally from Wollongong, Talia was living in Sydney when she met Dominik. “From that point, it seemed like Dom never left my side,” says Talia. Their commitment to one another led to Talia spending more time in the coastal NSW location, which made her family and
friends very happy.
A mere two years after they met, Dominik popped the question at their favourite walking track in Sydney’s Rozelle and Blackwattle Bay. As Dominik proposed to Talia under the beautiful night’s sky, tears of joy flowed down her face as she said yes! “I love the way Dom proposed to me as it was casual, sweet and personal, just like him,” beams Talia.
A years’ worth of planning and preparation went into organising their dream wedding. A modern-classical theme stood out to the couple, as it gave them a variety of decor options to play around with. From candlelit rooms and white decor covered in D&T lettering to burgundy-pink flowers and Croatian wooden carved bottles, all elements married seamlessly to create “a touch of our own style,” says Talia.
It was essential to the couple that a beautiful dining experience was created for guests. Dominik and Talia chose the elegant Lagoon Seafood Restaurant in Wollongong as their reception venue, which, the couple says, “is one of the best restaurants in Wollongong, with a great location, quality food and attentive service.”
