Jessica and Paul: Bondi Blue

The city of love Jessica met Paul briefly in 2005 for just a few days while she was living in London. After returning to Australia, Jessica returned to London with Paul just four months later. After five wonderful years together, Paul proposed to Jess in 2010 at one of the most iconic and romantic locations in the world: in Paris at the top of the Eiffel Tower. “Paris is my favourite city,” says Jessica. “So it was very special.” Together, the couple decided to wait a while to marry, as they wanted to buy a home first. In 2012, the bride-and-g room-to-be bought a flat in Bondi and were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Harper Robert.

Jessica and Paul decided on an intimate wedding, sharing their special day with friends and family who all play an important role in their lives as a couple and as a family. With the ceremony being held at Icebergs in Bondi, the theme was inspired by the couple’s surroundings. Jessica said it was “a little bit beachy, a little bit vintage and a little bit rock ‘n’ roll. The white, ivory and blue colour scheme complemented the beachy location, while the peach-toned flowers added a dash of colour. The couple was surrounded by wonderful people, delicious food and beautiful scenery, what better way to spend a wedding day?

The day was “so much fun!” Jessica enthuses. “It was a truly perfect day for us, surrounded by the people we love most. Walking down the isle towards my two boys is a memory I will forever have etched in my mind. We had such a great time getting our party on with our friends and family. We know that there were many sore heads the next day — a tell-tale sign of a great wedding!”

“Don’t get caught up in the small stuff. As long as the food and drinks are flowing, your guests will enjoy themselves — and so will you!” reflects Jessica.
